Just an update, because I didn’t get a chance to post this on this blog when it happened, I GOT ACCEPTED TO RISD!

I know there are messages and reblogs to respond to…

but I really need to finish my CAS websites and forms for school. For the next two days, I will not be on Tumblr except to check on a select few blogs, and even then only once a day (right before school starts). I have a billion and one reflections to write up, which I need to do to get my IB diploma. I have the hours (over 300 apparently), but now I actually have to prove I’ve done them by writing pointless reflections that everybody pulls out of their asses. I will actually be spending my two 4 hour frees (thank you week 2) in the next two days being productive, which normally doesn’t happen. Also, reading The Importance of Being Earnest which I am not looking forward to.

If you want to contact me, email me or leave a message on my Facebook (links on my about me page, but if you have my private accounts, feel free to message me there). Feel free to send me messages to help me with my boredom, but I probably won’t respond to huge long messages. Feel free to send me pictures of cute animals - I’ll be blocked from the tumblr tag for cute animal gifs.

But for serious. Tumblr is being put on the black list for SelfControl. I’m aiming to finish my entire CAS journal (at the very least) in the next two days.

LOOK AT ME I’M FROM HONG KONG

Part of the section in The Two Towers where Frodo and Sam meet Faramir. This section is what made me fall in love with the character of Faramir - his purity and his goodness, and him being one of very few people not tempted by the ring at all. Even Galadriel, someone who had seen the destruction of the one ring, was tempted, but Faramir was not.

I would not take this thing, if it lay by the highway. Not were Minas Tirith falling in ruin and I alone could save her, so, using the weapon of the Dark Lord for her good and my glory. No, I do not wish for such triumphs, Frodo son of Drogo.

(note: I don’t normally pronounce ‘journey’ like that, and my pronunciation of Númenor, Faramir, Boromir, Minas Tirith, and Minas Arnor is usually much better)
